Powderbase AB – Terms & Conditions of Purchase

This agreement is governed by the following standard terms for consumer purchases of goods over the internet. The terms comply with the Swedish Consumer Purchase Act (1990:932), the Distance and Doorstep Sales Act (SFS 2005:59) and the Personal Data Act (SFS 1998:204), and apply to all purchases made on eatmetta.com.

When shopping at eatmetta.com, you as a consumer enter into a purchase agreement with:

ORDER CONFIRMATION & CONTRACT

By accepting these terms and placing an order, a binding agreement is established. Once your order has been received, a confirmation will automatically be sent to the email address you provided. Powderbase AB does not enter into agreements with minors (under 18 years of age) without parental consent. Powderbase AB reserves the right to decline orders intended for resale to third parties.


PRICES

All prices on eatmetta.com include VAT. Prices also include free return shipping and free exchanges within Sweden. Before completing your order, you will see the total cost including all fees (VAT, duties, delivery, postage, invoice charges, packaging, etc.) as well as a breakdown of the components of the total price.

Powderbase AB is not liable for typographical errors or technical issues in connection with price listings and reserves the right to cancel and adjust invoices for clearly incorrect orders or completed purchases. Additional fees may apply for unclaimed parcels.


PAYMENT

You can pay using the various payment methods offered in the webshop: card payment, online payment, invoice or instalment plan. The availability of payment methods may vary depending on customer details.

By selecting invoice or instalment payment, the customer agrees to the terms of our payment provider Klarna.

Powderbase AB reserves the right not to offer specific payment methods if they are unavailable or not accepted by our partners at the time of purchase.

Accepted payment options include:

  • Invoice payment

  • Bank transfer

  • Instalment plan

  • Klarna Direct


CARD PAYMENT

If you choose card payment, all transactions are encrypted via our payment partner Klarna to ensure secure handling of your card details. You can pay with Visa, Mastercard or other cards listed at checkout. When paying by card, you provide the card number, expiry date, CVC code and, for some cards, a 3D Secure code.

Card numbers are never stored by Powderbase AB. The total amount of your order is reserved immediately on your account, and we only charge you once the goods have been dispatched (and only for items that are shipped).


DELIVERY METHODS

When ordering via eatmetta.com, free delivery options are always available above 60.00£. Additional home delivery services may be chosen where available. We currently partner with UPS:

UNCLAIMED PARCELS

Parcels not collected within 14 days are returned to Powderbase AB. We charge an administrative fee of 17.50£ for handling, shipping and processing. Unclaimed parcels are not covered by the right of withdrawal.


TRANSPORT DAMAGES

We are responsible for goods damaged or lost during delivery to you. When returning goods, you as the customer are responsible for the shipment until it reaches us.

Important: If you discover transport damage when receiving your order, you must report it within a reasonable time, and no later than 2 months. Always check your parcel upon delivery.


SATISFACTION GUARANTEE

If you order one of our products and, against expectation, are not satisfied, we offer a full refund. To qualify, at least 75% of the product must remain, and the claim must be made within 30 days of receiving the order. This applies only to your first order when trying our products for the first time.


RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

According to the Swedish Distance Selling Act, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order. The item must be unused and in its original condition. In addition, we offer a satisfaction guarantee (see above).


RETURNS

Powderbase AB offers free returns in connection with both the statutory right of withdrawal and our satisfaction guarantee.

Returned products must be sent in outer packaging with the return label attached. Do not attach the label directly to the product packaging. Items must be unused, in new condition, and returned in original packaging with tags intact. The customer is responsible for ensuring the return shipment is secure.


COMPLAINTS

To make a complaint, always contact customer service at hello@eatmetta.com. Please include your order number (#XXXXX), the product in question and the defect. If possible, include a photo.

Complaints cover manufacturing defects only, not normal wear and tear or product ageing. Complaints must be made as soon as possible after discovering the defect. Under Swedish law, you can make a complaint up to 3 years after purchase.


PERSONAL DATA & PRIVACY

This section explains how Powderbase AB handles personal data on eatmetta.com. Your privacy is important to us. We comply with GDPR and all applicable data protection regulations.

  • Consent: Some personal data is processed based on consent, e.g. for newsletters and marketing.

  • Collected data: Name, address, phone number, email, date of birth (if provided), and marketing consents. Data may also be collected via cookies or third-party sources for verification.

  • Use: Powderbase AB only uses your data for marketing, account handling and order fulfilment. We do not sell or transfer data to third parties, though we may use subcontractors for storage and processing.

  • Storage: Data is stored as long as necessary for its purpose. Marketing data is deleted if you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. Order data is kept until the agreement is fulfilled and legal obligations are met.

  • Your rights: You can request access, correction or deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@eatmetta.com. You also have the right to lodge complaints with the Swedish Data Protection Authority (Datainspektionen).


FORCE MAJEURE

If circumstances beyond our reasonable control occur (such as changes in legislation, government action, strikes, blockades, sabotage, fire, flooding, natural disasters, war, terrorism, or similar), Powderbase AB’s obligations are postponed for as long as the situation lasts. If the delay exceeds 2 months, either party may cancel the contract without liability.


OTHER

In the event of a dispute, Powderbase AB will comply with the recommendations of the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) and Swedish law.
